Introduction
If you're going to work in a registered club or hotel and your duties involve gaming machines, you must complete competency training in the Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG). If you don't have valid evidence that you've completed the RCG training required for working with gaming machines, you could be fined.

For staff at a gambling facility. All staff members who are directly involved in providing gambling services to patrons and their supervisors must successfully complete an approved training program before they start working at a gambling facility. The Responsible Conduct of Gambling course is provided by organisations approved by the Commission.
You'll need to be trained by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) approved by Liquor & Gaming NSW. You can find an approved RTO through the Liquor & Gaming NSW website.

Once you've undertaken your training, you'll need to Apply for an RSA or RCG photo competency card if you don't already have one.
